Generalstab des Heeres (publisher) - 'Statplan von London' (Street Plan of London), colour lithograph, published by the German Military High Command circa 1940, overall 68cm x 82cm, together with five further similar maps relating to the planned German invasion of Britain. Note: the German military preparations included the production of a series of military/geographical assessments, showing what might be found by the initial invaders. Dubbed operation 'Sea Lion', the plan commenced in 1940 but was ultimately unsuccessful.
