A British East India Company 1827 pattern naval officer's sword with slightly curved pipe-back blade with quill point, blade length 76.5cm, etched with crest and fouled anchor and detailed 'Silver and Co, No 9 & 10 Cornhill, London', with gilt brass hilt and folding guard, wire-bound fishskin grip and lion's head pommel, with brass-mounted leather scabbard.
