A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single-edged blade, blade length 64.5cm, the tang signed to both sides and dated/numbered '1936', oval steel tsuba, tape-bound fishskin grip with chrysanthemum menuki and textured pommel, with lacquered scabbard (some losses, some light rust in places).
