LOT 1121
A late 18th century brass thirty hour longcase clock movement and dial, the movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the 10-inch dial with matt centre and date aperture, the chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'JNo Smart Halsted', height 25.8cm. Note: John Smart is a recorded Essex clockmaker working in Halstead in the late 18th century.
