An archive of 24 personal diaries of the late Very Reverend Gilbert Thurlow, from 1929 to 1953, formerly Canon of Norwich Cathedral and Dean of Gloucester, subjects covered include bell ringing, curacy at Wokingham, appointments to Norwich churches and the cathedral, as well as national events, together with a quantity of ephemera and photographs including boy scouting, Aythorpe Roding Essex, Wokingham, St Nicholas Church Great Yarmouth, Norwich and Gloucester, his cement model of a cathedral, guidebooks, bells, bell ringing, and passports showing European travel.
