A late 19th century gilt lacquered brass cased pocket barometer, thermometer and compass, the silvered barometer dial detailed 'A. Carter, Exeter', the reverse with central mother-of-pearl compass dial with a mercury thermometer tube surround, diameter 5cm, together with a plated cased pocket barometer/altimeter with silvered dial, diameter 5.4cm, leather cased.
