A fine early 18th century Scottish dirk with double-edged softened-fullered blade, blade length 34.5cm, carved oak Celtic knot pattern swollen grip, silver metal collar and disc-shaped pommel, with leather scabbard with embossed decoration and silver metal mounts and chape holding a fork utensil (knife utensil lacking).
