A late 19th/early 20th century Swedish nobleman's hunting knife with single-edged blade with clipped-back point, blade length 16cm, S-shaped silver guard with dog head finials and carved sandalwood grip with all-over deep foliate decoration and shield with trophies of arms, surmounted by a Norse-type warrior's head and carved lion pommel, with trigger-button-release silver-mounted sandalwood scabbard, hallmarked 'M.A.L. 830 S', with all-over deep foliate carved decoration.
