Circle of John William Waterhouse - Putto, 19th century tondo oil on canvas, Study of a Lady wearing a Veil verso, diameter 22cm, within a gilt composition frame. Note: by family repute this work was chosen from J.W. Waterhouse's studio in 1887 by a Florence Berkeley and has remained within the family since that time. The painting was featured in the 1997 Lyme Regis episode of the Antiques Roadshow where it was assessed by Peter Nahum.
