An early 20th century Arts and Crafts walnut coal purdonium, in the manner of Edward Barnsley, the sides with recessed handles, the fall front with chamfered upright handle, height 40cm, width 46cm, depth 31cm. Note: similar handle designs can be seen in 'Arts and Crafts Furniture' by John Andrews, page 200.
