An autograph letter signed (a.l.s.) by John Ruskin on Brantwood, Coniston, headed paper dated 1 Nov '81, regarding 'a long chapter in Viola', 4pp but only written on the first and third pages, 11.5cm x 17.5cm, together with a collection of other autographed material and clipped signatures, including an 1878 passport, an a.l.s. from Walter Crane and another from H.H. Asquith.
