A late 19th century Chinese shortsword with double-edged blade with diamond-shaped point, blade length 42.5cm, oval brass guard and rib-carved hardwood grip, the brass collar and pommel with engraved decoration, with similarly decorated brass-mounted two-piece wood scabbard.
