A Worcester French shape coffee cup and saucer, circa 1780, painted in the Hop Trellis pattern with floral garlands segmented by gilt framing beneath a gilt overlaid cobalt blue border, underglaze blue 'W' mark to base of cup, diameter of saucer 13.5cm (saucer restored), together with a similar French shape teacup and saucer, painted with floral groups separated by wide turquoise and narrow puce stripes, blue painted open crescent mark to bases. Provenance: the property of Michael Godfrey.
