A Ridgway bluish-mauve earthenware part dessert service, pattern No. 285, enamelled and gilt with a central basket of flowers within floral borders, the rims shaped with gilt scroll detail and shell motifs to the larger pieces, comprising footed rectangular dish, eight leaf shaped dishes, two rectangular dishes, length 27cm, six diamond shaped dishes and forty-one plates, diameter 24.5cm (minor faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
