LOT 1482
A rare English pottery jug, circa 1840, decorated with a stagecoach, detailed 'Birmingham Liverpool Express', the door inscribed 'G. Hartly' beside a 'GR' monogram and the date '1717', pulled by four horses and passing through a hilly landscape, the shaped rim gilt with foliage around the foliate moulded gilt enriched spout, moulded handle, height 17cm. Provenance: from the collection of the late Graham and Rhiannon Berridge.
