A late 19th/early 20th century French brass cased petite sonnerie alarm carriage clock by Henri Jacot, with eight day movement striking quarters and repeating on two gongs, the backplate with stamped maker's mark and numbered '18609', the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, outer Arabic minutes and subsidiary alarm dial, the corniche case with swing handle and bevelled glass panels, on bracket feet, the underside with three lever selection for 'Full Striking', 'Silent' and 'Quarters', height 18.4cm, with leather mounted travelling case and original numbered winding key.
