ELLEN TERRY. A panoramic lithograph in colours by William Nicholson on two joined sheets titled 'The Ellen Terry Jubilee Commemoration Banquet Souvenir', published in 1906, overall 17cm x 147cm, within an original printed cardboard box, together with another duplicate scroll, a signed menu and a programme of related interest. Note: this scarce lithograph depicts a stage with chronological representations of Ellen Terry in her various parts from 'Hamillius 1856' to 'Lady Cecily 1906'. It was distributed as souvenirs to guests at the Jubilee Banquet at the Hotel Cecil on 17 June 1906. References: Colin Campbell, 'William Nicholson: The Graphic Work' (Barrie & Jenkins, 1992) p.115.
