Simon Lissim - 'Sunflower, an Ornamental Design', monochrome ink and wash, signed and dated 1948 recto, mounted onto card with a dedication, inscribed and with exhibition card verso, 37cm x 23cm, together with a small collection of signed books and Christmas cards from the artist, and a signed print. Note: this work was included in the exhibition 'A Designer's Interpretation of Nature', held at the American Museum of Natural History, New York, and the Los Angeles County Museum in 1953. Provenance: gifted by the artist to the vendor's parents.
