George Henry Boughton – Three Quarter Length Portrait of a Girl with a Cat on her Shoulder, in a Rose Garden, 19th century oil on canvas laid onto board, signed with initials, 39cm x 33cm, within a swept gilt composition frame. Note: this is a cabinet sized variant of the artist’s 1875 Royal Academy exhibited work ‘A Path of Roses’.
