LOT 1285
A late 19th century oak cased bracket clock with eight day three train movement chiming on four gongs and striking on a larger gong with pull repeat mechanism, the backplate stamped 'W & H Sch' (Winterhalder & Hofmeier), the brass dial with silvered subsidiary pendulum regulation dial above a matt centre and silvered chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and detailed 'Curtis & Horspool Leicester', the arched case with carved foliate scroll decoration, bevelled glass panel to front door and pierced fret panels to sides, on an inverted breakfront base, height 38.4cm, with pendulum, case key and winding key.
