                A matched pair of English delft plates, probably London, 1780s, painted in blue with a chinoiserie landscape with tall willow tree, within a geometric panelled rim, diameter 23cm, together with an English delft plate, late 18th century, painted in blue with Chinese pagodas to the rim and well, diameter 22.5cm (faults). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
