                A mixed group of thirteen Dutch delft tiles, mostly 18th century, predominantly painted in blue, two manganese examples and one with polychrome decoration, including an example painted with a boat, probably Rotterdam, a biblical subject, landscapes and buildings, together with five manganese painted border tiles (faults and restoration). Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
