Two very rare and striking Grand-Duché de Luxembourg partial banknote die proof engraver's test strikes for the obverse of a ten francs note, circa 1967, each in vivid green as later issued with portrait vignette of Grand Duke Jean to left centre, values to opposing corners, on oversized paper/card with near full-plate margins (both extremely fine). Provenance: from the personal archive of the late Alan Dow, master banknote engraver to Bradbury Wilkinson & Co and the Bank of England.
