A French Gothic Revival brass cased mantel timepiece, the white enamelled circular dial with black Roman hour numerals, the gothic architectural case cast with clocktower and turrets, the case back detailed 'Grand Prix de L'Horologerie 1878' above maker's monogram and 'Depose: Brevete', height 28.1cm.
