A mid-19th century French engraved gilt lacquered brass 'one-piece' cased carriage alarm clock by Bolviller, the eight day movement striking hours and alarm on a bell, the backplate signed 'Bolviller à Paris' and numbered '65', the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and subsidiary alarm dial with Arabic numerals and signed 'Bolviller a Paris', the case with engraved foliate scrolls, swing handle and bevelled glass panels, height including handle 17.5cm (back door detached and other minor faults).
