A George V oak longcase clock, the eight day three train movement chiming on six gongs and striking on a larger gong with pull repeat mechanism, the 14-inch brass breakarch dial with chime/silent and chime selection indicators to arch above a silvered chapter ring, detailed 'Maple & Co Ltd London', framing a matt centre with silvered subsidiary seconds, the hood with carved and pierced scrollwork surmount above a glazed door, turned columns and pierced fret panels to sides, the trunk with scroll mouldings and rectangular door, on a panelled base and plinth, height 256.5cm, with pendulum and three brass cased weights.
