A late 19th century French gilt metal and red tortoiseshell mounted balloon cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the white enamelled dial detailed 'Made in Paris for Howell & James... London', the case with rococo scroll foliate mounts, height 4.6cm, with pendulum and winding key.
