A late 19th century French ebonized and inlaid boulle style hexagonal tableau comtoise wall timepiece with eight day movement, the circular alabaster dial applied with white enamelled hour plaques and detailed 'La Gach...', the hinged and glazed front enclosing an ebonized surround inlaid with brass, red tortoiseshell and blue enamelled foliate scrolls, case width 64.5cm, case height 66cm, with pendulum and winding key.
