A collection of approximately four hundred and forty-eight microscope specimen slides, late Victorian and later, including biological, entomological, geological, diatomacea, infusoria, ornithological, ichthyological and zoological, many with printed paper labels and some paper wrapped, including C.M Topping, H. Boecker Wetzlar and Ross of London, all housed within a Victorian mahogany specimen chest of twenty-one drawers, enclosed by a hinged door, height 29.8cm (brass carry handle lacking), together with a small group of thirty botanical slides, within an R. & J. Beck London case with hinged top and front.
