A pair of impressive early 19th century papier-mâché Stobwasser snuff boxes of substantial size, finely painted with portraits of 'William IV King of Great Britain' and 'Adelaide Queen of Great Britain', both titled in red to the interior of the lids and detailed 'Stobwasser Fabrik in Braunschweig' to the interior of the bases, the 'Adelaide' box and lid with matching numbers '167', the 'William IV' box with matched numbers '197' and '186', diameter 14cm.
