A Chinese blue and white porcelain 'Lotus' bowl, mark of Daoguang and probably of the period, of steep-sided circular form with slightly flared rim, the exterior painted with a repeated frieze of lotus flowers and scrolling tendrils, the interior with a lotus flower medallion, underglaze blue seal mark to base, diameter 16.7cm, height 7.4cm.
