A mid to late 19th century French ormolu mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension, striking hours and half hours on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate with stamped maker's mark 'D. Motte Paris', the silvered circular dial with engine turned decoration and black Roman hour numerals and signed 'D. Motte a Fils à Paris', the cast rococo scroll moulded balloon shaped case decorated with shells, flowers, scrolls, mask and dolphins, on an integral stand, height 43cm, with pendulum and winding key.
