LOT 1170
A late 19th century French ormolu and Sèvres style porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the porcelain dial painted with gilt Roman hour numerals and flowers above a scene of a classical maiden and Cupid, reserved against a gilt enriched bleu céleste ground, the case with cast dove and fruit laden urn surmount above scroll arched pediment, further Cupid painted porcelain panels to front and flower panels to sides, each with gilt and bleu céleste borders, with scroll columns and cast griffon supports, height 44.5cm, with pendulum.
