A collection of approximately one hundred and eighty-seven microscope specimen slides, Victorian and later, including a set of twenty-four numbered Paris 1867 prize medal slides by Arthur Cole 'To Illustrate the Anatomy of the Frog', within a pine case with four removable trays, other entomological and botanical, some with printed paper labels and some paper wrapped, including Raignel & Co, J. Bourgogne, Newton & Co, Ward, Sinel & Co, J.W. Dixon and Smith, Beck & Beck, all contained within cases with removable trays.
