LOT 4007
A mid to late 18th century flintlock hunting rifle, probably German, with front-sighted part-round steel barrel with silver and brass inlaid decoration, barrel length 72cm, finely engraved lock and hammer, decorated with trophies of arms and foliate motifs, full-stocked in walnut with brass furniture and unusual carved all-in-one integral wood trigger guard, and brass-tipped ebonized pull-out ramrod, with associated leather sling (full and half-lock mechanism working, overall a clean gun).
