A French model 1842 yataghan sword bayonet with swept single-edged fullered blade, blade length 57cm, the ricasso stamped '1858', steel crossguard and moulded brass grip, with steel scabbard, together with a Remington M1886 pattern Chassepot type sword bayonet with swept single-edged fullered blade, blade length 57cm, hooked steel crossguard and moulded brass grip, with steel scabbard.
