A pair of fine early 19th century percussion belt pistols by John Probin, Lisle Street, London, probably circa 1830, each with octagonal barrel, barrel length 9.5cm, the muzzle with linear border engraving, box shaped lock with foliate decoration and detailed 'Probin London', dolphin engraved hammer, spring trigger, sliding safety, finely chequered walnut grip, steel butt cap with engraved radiating star motifs, and captive style swing-over ramrod, both within a later converted box with associated accessories, including a powder flask and a shot mould.
