A Victorian 1845 pattern infantry officer's sword by Sherlock & Co, 15 King Street, Covent Garden, London, with single-edged blade, blade length 80cm, etched with foliate designs and indistinct monogram, cast brass gothic hilt with 'VR' cypher and wire bound fishskin grip, with steel scabbard, later black painted (overall old cleaning, generally a little tired throughout).
