A Victorian 1845 pattern infantry officer's dress sword by Cooling & Lawrence, Maddox St, Bond St, London, with single-edged fullered blade, blade length 75.5cm, numbered '96237' to spine and etched with 'VR' cypher and monogram 'RPM' to face, cast brass gothic openwork hilt and wire bound fishskin grip, with brass mounted leather scabbard (some distortion to hilt, some fatigue to leather at point of brass chape).
