A French 1866 model Chassepot bayonet with recurved single-edged blade, blade length 57.5cm, inscribed and dated '1874' to the spine, steel hooked quillon, stamped 'AC 21195', and moulded banded brass grip, with steel scabbard, also stamped 'AC 21195' (some overall light active rust to scabbard).
