Great Britain postal history, correspondence from Edinburgh to St Andrews with 1838 and 1839 pre-stamp entires, eight entires with 1d blacks postmarked red Maltese Cross, only one with four clear margins, also 1840 2d blue cancelled red Maltese Cross and two covers with stamp removed, all with central file fold (total 14).
