A Japanese brown patinated bronze okimono figure group of an elephant and two tigers, Meiji period, possibly by Seiya, finely modelled fending off two snarling tigers, stamping one tiger underfoot at the front whilst another attacks from the back, indistinct cast signature seal to underside, height 30.7cm, length 32.5cm, with carved wood stand. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
