A mid-20th century taxidermy specimen of a roach, preserved by William Griggs for J. Cooper & Sons, mounted within a glazed bowfront case, the interior with plaque, inscribed 'Roach 2lbs-3½ozs Caught by H.G.C. Claypoole at Charford 11th March 1952', and with applied label, detailed 'Preserved by J Cooper & Sons 78 Bath Road... ', height 31cm, width 46cm.
