A mid-20th century taxidermy specimen of a tench preserved by J. Cooper & Sons, the stuffed fish mounted within a glazed bowfront case, the front inscribed in gilt 'Tench 4lbs. 4ozs. Caught at the Vyne by H.G.C. Claypoole. Sept 1965', and with applied label, detailed 'Preserved by J. Cooper & Sons 78 Bath Road... ', height 31cm, width 59cm.
