A late 19th century American mahogany veneered rectangular cased wall clock by J.C. Brown, with eight day movement striking on a gong, the painted dial with black Roman hour numerals, the glazed door with printed scene of 'McLean Asylum, Somerville, Mass.', height 73.7cm, together with a similar smaller wall clock by Ansonia Brass Company, the glazed door printed with a scene of 'State Street Boston', height 65cm, each clock with two weights, pendulum and winder.
