A late 19th/early 20th century French brass cased four glass mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with Japy Frères stamped maker's mark, with mercury compensated pendulum, the two piece enamelled dial with visible Brocot escapement and black Roman hour numerals, the case with moulded top and base, bevelled glass panels and doors, on bracket feet, height 29.7cm.
