A Victorian 1845 pattern infantry officer's dress sword by E. Thurkle, Soho, London, with straight single-edged blade, blade length 83.5cm, etched with 'VR' cypher and foliate designs, cast brass gothic hilt with 'VR' cypher, and wire bound fishskin grip, with steel scabbard (hilt misshapen, scabbard cleaned/polished and with bruises and dents, overall a little tired).
