A Victorian naval officer's dirk by E.A. Seagrove, The Hard, Portsea, with straight single-edged blade, blade length 43.5cm, etched with 'VR' cypher, fouled anchor and foliate decoration, the ricasso personalized to 'L. Bayly R.N.', cast brass crossguard, wire bound fishskin grip and lion head pommel, with brass mounted stitched leather scabbard (overall environmental damage and live rust, guard misshapen).
