A George III period new land pattern flintlock service pistol with round steel barrel, barrel length 23cm, line border engraved lock, dated 1813 and marked with East India Company lion, full-stocked with brass furniture and pull-out steel captive ramrod, the brass trigger guard engraved 'NYD 1', various stamps and inventory numbers to the wood (action works at half and full cock).
