A group of three French bayonets, comprising an 1866 model Chassepot bayonet with recurved single-edged blade, blade length 57.5cm, dated 1874, hooked quillon and banded brass grip, with steel scabbard, both numbered 'B 87453', a similar Chassepot bayonet (lacking scabbard), and a Lebel bayonet with cruciform section blade, blade length 52cm, hooked quillon and nickel grip, with steel scabbard, later black painted.
